Glass Brain

Yesterday, I posted about the ‘BigBrain‘ project, which resulted in an online resource that allows anyone to scroll through a high resolution, digitized brain model.  Today, I was browsing through the wonder that is the internet, and stumbled upon ‘Glass Brain‘, which looks at brain function, rather than structure.  Glass Brain uses advanced methodology and statistical analyses to track electroencephalography (EEG) signals – this allows them to look at effective connectivity, or how information moves through the brain.  You’ll learn about EEG and effective connectivity at Brain Camp…but for now, take a peak at how this creative investigative team has visually presented their data:
